Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use the Hushplan apps or website. By using Hushplan you agree to them.

The service

Hushplan lets a group suggest options for a plan, set private spending limits, vote on dates and see which options fit everyone. Prices and shares of a total are estimates based on what members enter. Hushplan does not take bookings, hold money or process payments between members, and a plan being “decided” does not create any obligation to pay.

Planning with friends is free. If we ever offer paid extras, we will describe them and their price before you buy.

Who can use it

You must be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for keeping access to your device and account secure. Guest accounts are tied to one device or browser and cannot be recovered if it is lost; connect Google to keep your plans.

Acceptable use

• Only invite people who expect to hear from you.
• Do not post unlawful, hateful or harassing content, or try to find out other members’ limits.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload or reverse engineer the service.
• Do not post sexual content, threats, spam or content that targets people for who they are.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

Reporting, blocking and moderation

You can report a plan, an option or a person from the plan, and block people. We review reports within 24 hours and may remove content, restrict features or suspend accounts that break these terms. If we act on something you posted and have a way to reach you, we tell you why, and you can ask us to review the decision. Titles, names and notes that contain words from a short list of slurs and offensive terms are rejected automatically.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you add. You allow us to store and show it to the members of the plan so that the service works.

Availability and liability

We work to keep Hushplan available and accurate, but we provide it as it is. We are not responsible for decisions made with it, for venues or activities chosen, or for prices that differ from estimates. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

Ending the service

You can stop using Hushplan and delete your account at any time.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
